Statement of Faith

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience, and is therefore totally depraved and unable to save itself. We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to the sovereign will of God alone, and for His glory alone.

We believe that Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary atonement for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, and reigns as Lord. We believe that the Holy Spirit applies the work of Christ to believers, regenerating, indwelling, sanctifying, and preserving them.

We believe that God, from all eternity, has elected a people for Himself, not based on foreseen merit, but according to His mercy and purpose. We believe that those whom God has chosen will be effectually called, justified, sanctified, and glorified.

We believe in the one universal Church, the body of Christ, composed of all true believers, and that the local church is called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, administer the sacraments, and make disciples of all nations.

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, the resurrection of the body, and the eternal joy of the redeemed in God’s presence, and the eternal punishment of the wicked
